The Babadook is dark, eerie, creepy, and the scariest of all it is metaphorically psychological. A combination of all this makes the movie very twisted and VERY impactful. It is the threat of insanity that drives the film. The film is directed by Jennifer Kent. The film is about a single mother and her child, who fall into a deep well of paranoia, when a strange and eerie book called ‘’Mister Babadook” manifests in their home. This movie is extremely well made and does not receive the appreciation it truly deserves.
